Urban Gardeners: Grow 100 lbs of potatoes in 4 square feet
KEN KORCZAK: There is a super cool way to grow maybe 100 pounds of potatoes in just a 4×4 sq foot space. There is a catch or two, however, as you will see in my article, but this is still a neato idea.
When you think about it, no one really has to starve. If you have a tiny bit of space and a clever idea, you can really grow a lot of food.

Criminalize extreme poverty: Yeah, that’ll work
Ken Korczak: I once worked as a VISTA Volunteer on problems of homelessness. Talk about a daunting and largely thankless job. That was 20 years ago. Today, homelessness is worse than ever. See my recent article: CRACK-DOWN ON PANHANDLERS
New lucid dream mask invention isn’t so new
Ken Korczak: It rankles me, I guess. These two dudes in New York are being hailed as visionaries and are raking in hundreds of thousands of investor cash to develop their “new” dream mask — a device which already has been on the market for more than 20 years.
I’ve been using the NovaDreamer since the late 1980s for lucid dream induction and manipulation. Now everyone is acting like this is some kind of new breakthrough. AAAAAHHHH!!!! See my story:
Hunting Wild Asparagus in Minnesota
Ken Korczak: Are you like me? That is, have you always wanted to find free delicious food without having to pay for it? Not only can you find anywhere all over, but it’s pesticide free and super healthy to boot!
Then you might be interested in hunting for wild asparagus. It tastes at least 100% better than the kind you buy in the supermarket. See my tips and advice about how to find this stuff:
I’m a sucker for a Minnesota small-town art fair
Ken Korczak: I was invited to speak as a guest author over the weekend at an arts festival in the north-central Minnesota town of Wadena, pop. 4,000. It was a blissfully fine summer day, had a great time, made a little cash, and absorbed some deep “Minnesota-cana” if I may invent a term.
